Carbon Cylinder renews its collaboration with Skyward Experimental Rocketry
After sharing, over the past few weeks, the journey we took together with Skyward Experimental Rocketry throughout 2025, today we are pleased to announce that Carbon Cylinder is renewing its collaboration with the university team for the 2026 rocket as well.
The partnership supports the development of a system that demands structural control, weight optimization, and material reliability under critical operating conditions.
The project is part of a high-level applied engineering path, where every component is designed, tested, and validated against defined loads, pressures, and safety marginsโan environment that enables the transfer of real, field-proven know-how between academic research and industry.
Work now continues on Hydra, a bi-liquid engine rocket being developed for EUROC 2026, marking a further increase in system complexity and design responsibility.
